eBay to take a shot at Amazon with end-to-end fulfillment service next year

eBay has announced plans to launch its own fulfillment service called Managed Delivery, which will provide end-to-end packaging and deliveries to its sellers. Bloomberg quotes one seller involved in a trial of eBay’s fulfillment service who said that eBay charged him $3.99 to send a package from California to New Jersey, compared to the $3.09 he spent before, which didn’t include the cost of packaging supplies. eBay Rolls Out Program to Combat Ad Fraud

eBay Advertising announced a new program to help it combat ad fraud called Ads.txt, which stands for Authorized Digital Sellers. eBay uses Ads.txt to publicly declare the companies it authorizes to sell its digital inventory. eBay Advertising is a division of eBay offering a suite of marketing solutions for brands and sellers.
